Referrals and Patient Appointments

Before we can book you an appointment with one of our Specialists you will need a referral from your GP.

One of our Doctors may also request further investigations to be performed prior to your appointment with us.

We are a private billing clinic and all new patients require valid private health insurance.

Medicare rebates will be processed on your behalf at the time of payment.

GP Referrals

Before we can book you an appointment with one of our Specialists you will need a referral from your GP. Please send through your referral, along with results from investigations such as blood or urine tests, swabs, pelvic ultrasound or other relevant reports.Once we have received your referral it will be triaged by the Specialist and assessed for medical urgency.

One of our Doctors may also request further investigations to be performed prior to your appointment with us.

You will then be contacted by text message or phone call, depending on the urgency, to book your appointment. Please ensure your preferred contact details are correct on your referral.

Contacting our Rooms

We are a busy Specialist practice and at times will be unable to answer your phone call, we apologise for this and appreciate your call. Please leave a clear message with your full name and contact phone number on our answering machine and one of our reception staff will return your call.

Our phone lines are open 9am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 9am to 1pm on Fridays (excluding public holidays). You may find it more convenient to email us or contact us through our online form HERE and we encourage you to consider this.

Review or Existing Patient Appointments

Returning Patients

A referral from your GP is valid for 12 months from the first day of use.

 

If your referral is from another Specialist or Emergency Department it is only valid for 3 months.

If you need ongoing gynaecological care, or have a new issue to discuss with one of our Specialists, you may need a new referral to cover your review appointment.

 

If you are not sure, please contact our rooms to check if your referral is valid, and allow yourself time to visit your GP if a new referral is required.
